Humanity is a gratifying offering

Delivered to each one of us as we enter this flawless world.

The Divine plants seeds of commitment, honesty, courage and integrity,

But did He brush off the unending sentiments of negativity and insecurity?

He created us to grow into righteous individuals

However, even with the world in our palms, we yearn for more

Not for ourselves, not for our children

But for reprisal, malevolence and the bitter mountain that grows within us: it never ceases.

Negativity is but a saying

Our words are but crumbs that descend from the feast of the mind.

Our constant need for upliftment,

The wicked playing at our innocent mind at all times

Why can't we put an end to this?

This negative feeling of denial and refusal,

Be sheltered in an aura of positivity and self-reliance,

The zeal for accomplishment with the blessing of reassurance.

Envision a realm

With mirth in every deed

Not a speck of retaliation

And even the pessimist persuaded by the dove in his mind.

Who are we?

If not celestial creations that sprout into existence

Watch out, for a God-sent miracle might come your way.

Good things come to those who wait

Impatience will lead us back to the diabolical.

Stay assured my friend, stay positive and grateful always

Just like a broken glass mirrors like any other,

Even from a dry lake arises growth!

So keep your face to the sunshine and you will not see a shadow.

And you will fly
