A Ray of Hope

I saw the light peeping through my window
And I gazed at it
Dazed as I was, I wandered in my own thoughts
The world that I had created in my visions
Lost in my world
I missed the only hue that would grant me the hope and ambition that I had forever yearned for
I pleaded for help
But never a one to come to my redemption
I thudded the doors
But all was barred
I wondered where all those mortals went
Who had once promised me their lives
Who vowed to stay by my side
And sing me to sleep every night
They weren't there
I was lost
When suddenly I saw that spark again
The ray of hope that came to my rescue
I was staggered by it, moved
As something so unusual had come my way
Even when it left me before
It came back
To save me
My own people were truant
But the ray of hope was the one that truly freed me from my confinement
And at the end, realisation greeted me
It said,
"Towards the edge we're left infinitely and utterly alone."
Hello everyone!
Here's another poem for you, it is all about realisations and truths which we all discover slowly through the journey of life! Hope you enjoyed reading it and if you did please comment below.
I'll be writing soon
Till then,
XOXO

A ray of hope is all that we have each time, each day and for ever. But you are never alone in that hope... look around carefully you will find familiar faces reaching out to you with open arms. Step back a little, let go of the false ego and unmask urself ...there is a world which is unexplored, happy and real. Believe me!
